Henna parties are especially popular with teens and women - perfect for grad night parties and ladies' night out. Henna designs can range from five minute designs for events with many participants, up to several hours on one design, such as for beautifully intricate bridal henna. Call for your appointment today!Henna is an ancient form of body adornment that has been in use for thousands of years. Henna paste is all-natural and made from the leaves of the plant Lawsonia inermis. Stains from this paste are generally a deep mahogany brown color and last from 1 - 3 weeks depending on tattoo location and skin care. Our henna designs are hand-applied using the cone method - no stencils are used. While drying, paste can be accidentally smeared and is best applied to ages 10 and above to preserve the design. Paste should be left on the skin for at least 2 - 3 hours for deepest stain. Upon removal, stain will be a pumpkin orange color, and will oxidize to its darkest color in 48 hours. For this reason, if you are planning on showcasing henna art at a specific event, such as a wedding or prom, henna paste should be applied about 2 days in advance. slide 3

Prenatal belly art is a beautiful way to showcase your gorgeous "bump"! Belly art is very fun at baby showers - have your belly painted an hour or two before your shower begins and show it off to your family and friends. Art can also be used for professional pregnant belly photographs, to preserve the memories of this special time. Pregnant bellies can be painted, or have a henna tattoo applied.
